Status Truck & Trailer Repair, located in Atlanta, GA, is currently looking for a Trailer Technician specialized in commercial trailers and related repairs.
Employment Requirements:
- High School Diploma
- 5 years of prior automotive/trailer mechanic experience
- CDL will be a plus
- Technical knowledge of trailer systems
- Must be able to meet physical requirements of the position (lifting, bending, climbing, etc.)
Responsibilities:
- Inspect and diagnose malfunctions in trailer systems
- Troubleshoot the faults by repairing or replacing the defective/damaged components
- Perform regular routine check-ups/preventive maintenance of the trailer
- DOT inspections
- Do scheduled lubrications and tune-ups of trailer systems in order to ensure everything is in good working condition
- Coordinate with other staff, receive/execute work instructions in a timely and proper manner, and keep tools and work area clean.
- Structural/body repairs and fabrications
- Lift gate diagnostics and repairs
- Other advanced diagnostics and repairs
Status Truck & Trailer Repair has regular business hours, Monday-Friday, 8-5. Benefits: 401 (k); the company offers paid vacation and disability insurance.
